Inline Chain and Rappel Ring Assembly

Our Inline Chain and Rappel Assembly is a complete assembly using 30cm of chain to link a higher expansion bolt hanger into a lower hanger. It includes a pair of rappel rings.

The chain and rappel assembly is ideal for bolt belays or abseil stations where multiple attachment points are desirable. When abseiling, the rope cannot become unattached as it remains captive within the rappel ring.

The chain is rated strong enough that any connection point serves as a fully rated belay point. In other words, weaker chain is NOT used simply because the load is shared.

All components are ‘metal-matched’ and fabricated from high-quality European stainless steel in 1.4401 / AISI 316 / A4 grade.
