My quick review of the new guidebook:
The new edition of the guidebook takes on a noticeably slicker appearance, giving you exactly what you need (for finding and climbing routes), and nothing that you don’t. It is way better organised than the old version and you will find many small “usability” improvements, perhaps the most helpful (at least for me) is the new colour code indexed pages, which makes it much easier and more intuitive to find crags by the different regions of HK.
Go and get yourselves a copy, tonnes of new crags and routes to try out, as well as updated info. I picked one up even though I already have the previous version, not just for the new routes and other improvements, but also because, how often does a book get published on HK climbing? This is a piece of HK climbing history, who knows if or when another version will be made?

Picked up mine yesterday – many MANY new areas to explore, updated and improved topos and overall organisation, and stunning new photos. Grab a copy before it sells out and becomes hard to find again! Huge thanks for all you do Francis…
